Cadillac introduced the 2025 Escalade IQ, a fully electric version of its iconic SUV, with a starting price of $129,900 and an estimated range of 740 kilometers.
Positioned at the top of the brand’s luxury SUV lineup, the model comes standard with all-wheel drive and will be available in four versions: Luxury 1, Sport 1, Luxury 2, and Sport 2. An extended chassis version, called the IQL, is expected to be added later.
Based on the same platform as the GMC Hummer EV and Chevrolet Silverado EV, the Escalade IQ stands out with a unique aerodynamic design, inspired by other Cadillac electric models like the Lyriq. It is larger than the traditional Escalade and features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivering 750 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque. Powered by a 24-module battery with more than 200 kWh, the IQ can add 160 km of range in about 10 minutes on 800-volt fast chargers.
The Luxury and Sport versions feature sophisticated finishes and advanced features. The base Luxury 1 includes 24-inch wheels and exclusive door handles, while the Luxury 2 adds massaging seats, LED headlights, and a premium sound system for an additional $20,000. The Sport 1 offers a bolder look with a lighted grille, while the Sport 2 adds technologies like night vision and adaptive lighting.
The vehicle is expected to hit dealerships by the end of the year, with a configurator already available on the Cadillac website.
